Visa applications can only be logded WITH appointment. An appointment can only be made through website: www.netherlands.ru and no longer by telephone.

Payment of handling fee must be made cash in roubles; a visa application cannot be accepted until payment of the handling fee is received.

The Visa Application Centre is instructed NOT to accept incomplete files. Be aware that you have to (re)book an appointment. Check the website for the required documents.

If necessary, the applicant can be asked to provide additional information and inquiries can be made.

Personal appearance is obligatory except for applicants who have had at least 2 Schengen visas issued during the last 3 years and minors under 16. Anyone can pick up passports with issued visas but only with an authorizing letter of this person.

Long stay visa applicants can apply in person, straight to the embassy without an appointment on working days between 09:00 and 13:00.

The consideration of a short stay visa application takes 4 working days, but in some cases, the decision may take until approximately two weeks. One day visa procedure is possible only in exceptional cases (death of family members etc.).
